Junior Strength Advil Chewables provide effective relief from fever and minor aches and pains due to the common cold, flu, sore throat, headaches, and toothaches. Each chewable tablet contains 100 mg of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Designed for children ages 2 to 11, the grape-flavored tablets are easy to chew and offer up to 8 hours of relief.

Warnings: Stomach bleeding risk increases if the child has had ulcers, takes blood thinners or NSAIDs, or uses more than directed. Heart attack and stroke risk increases with overuse. Do not use if the child has had an allergic reaction to any pain reliever/fever reducer or right before/after heart surgery. Consult a doctor before use if the child has high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, asthma, or has not been drinking fluids.

Directions: Use weight-based dosing when possible. Repeat dose every 6–8 hours if needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

ALLERGY WARNING: Contains phenylalanine (4.2 mg per tablet), which may be a concern for individuals with PKU. May cause a severe allergic reaction, especially in individuals allergic to aspirin. Symptoms include hives, facial swelling, asthma (wheezing), rash, blisters, and shock.
